For years, I have poured my heart and soul into mastering both the art and the business of photography. When I first started, I had a newborn baby at home and another job to juggle. I had very little money, but I had a big dream. I bought my very first camera in instalments, putting all my faith into the idea that my photography work would eventually pay for it. And it did.
It was not easy.
At the time, I barely had enough hours in the day to edit my images, let alone create content for social media. But I kept showing up, doing my best with the time and energy I had. A few years later, I made the decision to change careers and commit to photography full time.
It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
